1, the meaning of model
The type of wire and cable and power cable for electrical equipment is mainly composed of seven parts:

3, specifications
The specification is composed of rated voltage, core number and nominal cross section.
The general rated voltage of wires and control cables is 300/300V, 300/500V and 450/750V;
The rated voltages of medium and low voltage power cables are generally 0.6/1 kv, 1.8/3 kv, 3.6/6 kv, 6/6 (10) KV, 8.7/10 (15) kv, 12/20 kv, 18/20 (30) kv, 21/35 kv, 26/35 kv, etc.

Core number of wire and cable according to actual needs to determine, the general power cable is mainly 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cores, wire is mainly 1 to 5 cores, control cable has 1 to 61 cores.

The nominal cross section is the approximate value of the cross section of the conductor. In order to achieve the specified DC resistance, an integer value near the cross section of a conductor is conveniently remembered and uniformly specified. There are 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2.5, 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50, 70, 95, 120, 150, 185, 240, 300, 400, 500, 630, 800, 1000, 1200 conductor cross-sections in China. It is emphasized here that the nominal cross section of a conductor is not the actual cross section of a conductor. Many of the actual cross sections of a conductor are smaller than the nominal cross section, and several are larger than the nominal cross section. In the actual production process, as long as the direct current resistance of the conductor can meet the specified requirements, it can be said that the section of the cable is up to the standard.
